Primary Objective:
Provide, Communicate and Publish clear and ongoing objectives, responsibilities and Processes to your team that Consistently Produce the Brown Note Experience. Primary activities include Pulling, Prepping and Scanning all outgoing equipment and Scanning all returned Equipment ensuring equipment is Quality Checked, Serviced and Returned to Shelves.
Essential Role and Responsibilities:
Brown Note Audio Standards
- Ensures Brown Note Standardized Processes and Procedures are consistently followed by all staff involved in Pulling, Prepping and Scanning Audio Equipment.
- Manages all activities associated with Pulling, Prepping and Scanning of Equipment to ensure we meet and exceed all customer expectations.
Training
- Develop and provide training, structure, tools and processes that ensures all Audio Production Staff is completely trained and can consistently produce the Brown Note Standardized Processes and Procedures.
- Ensures all Audio Production Staff is trained and can produce all required Brown Note activities from basic audio preparation to live sound.
- Create and manage training and development of audio interns.
- Document and manage the skill levels of all Audio Staff and requirements to move forward.
Audio Reports & Assessments
- Manages and produces quarterly reports for Audio Production warehouse staff to include number of hours worked and tracking progress of individuals and their skill level, and requirements to move forward.
- Communicate audio equipment damage updates to Asset Department and Service Department to ensure maximum utilization of all Audio assets.
- Helps develop reports for all Audio staff that drives quality improvement, improved communication and greater quality.
Manage All Audio Warehouse Staff
- Communicates daily production requirement to Audio staff involved in Pulling, Prepping and Scanning Equipment.
- Manages all communication for the Audio Production Department ( warehouse ) through the Google Management Tool.
- Manages and oversees all activities involved in Audio Production.
- Works with Director of Audio to continually development and improve processes and tools within the Audio Department.
- Responsible for ensuring that all regulations required for the safe use of all related electrical, Audio and PA rigging equipment be met and maintained concerning all federal and O.S.H.A. requirements.
- Supervise staff of Audio Department technicians. Must be able to manage efficiently and effectively while maintaining positive morale and a proactive work environment in a fast paced warehouse.
- Consistently demonstrate and ensures Audio Production Staff consistently demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
Equipment
- Works with Asset Manager to resolve equipment conflicts to ensure maximum utilization of all Audio Assets.
- Works with Asset Manager and clients to resolve and recover all missing items.
- Manage the general maintenance of all Audio Equipment to ensure maximum utilization of all Audio Assets.
- Consistently stay up to date with the latest Audio technology including PA system design including knowledge of audio repair, audio engineering, and operation.
Documentation and Information Management
- Develop and provide all system design documentation for all events.
- Manage all R2 required information for post confirmation for all Audio Sub Departments.
Production Management and On Call Requirement
- As required provides Production Management for designated events throughout the year.
- Participate in the warehouse on-call management rotation.
